Privacy Policy

General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data means any data by which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy set out below.

The essentials in brief

This website is a static site without a database or content management system. Fonts are hosted on our own server; no other third-party content is embedded. For statistics we use Google Analytics – only if you expressly consent via the consent banner. Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You will find the operator’s contact details in the section „Controller“ in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

Some data is collected because you provide it to us – for example when you send us an email. Other data is collected automatically by our hosting provider’s IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. browser, operating system or time of the page request). Collection of this data happens automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

The data is collected to ensure the error-free and secure provision of the website. Beyond that, statistical analysis takes place only with your consent (see section 3).

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions about data protection.

1. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider:

Plesk

This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the host. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website. External hosting takes place for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting). Consent can be revoked at any time.

We use the following host:
WebPros International GmbH
Vordergasse 59
8200 Schaffhausen / Switzerland

Data processing agreement: We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. This is a contract required by data protection law which ensures that the personal data of website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Transfer to Switzerland: Our host is based in Switzerland and therefore outside the European Union. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for Switzerland pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR; the level of data protection is thus recognised as equivalent to that of the EU. Transfers are permissible on this basis.

Server log files

Each time this website is accessed, our host’s server automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This comprises:

– browser type and version
– operating system used
– referrer URL (the previously visited page)
– host name of the accessing device
– time of the server request
– IP address

Purpose: This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and to defend against attacks. It is not merged with other data sources, nor evaluated for advertising purposes.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website.

Storage period: The log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

2. Contacting us

Enquiries by email

If you contact us by email, the details you provide including your contact data will be stored by us in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Legal basis: Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.

Storage period: We retain the data until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent or the purpose for storage no longer applies – for example once your enquiry has been dealt with. Mandatory statutory retention periods, in particular under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.

Provision of data: You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. However, without contact details we cannot answer your enquiry. You will not suffer any disadvantage as a result.

3. Cookies, consent and statistics

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that cause no harm there. We use two kinds:

Necessary cookie to store your choice: When you make a selection in the consent banner, we store it in a cookie named bv_consent with the value „granted“ or „denied“. Lifetime: six months. Without this cookie we would have to ask you again on every page view. Legal basis: § 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is documenting and honouring your choice.

Statistics cookies (only with consent): After your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_<ID>) with a lifetime of up to two years. Legal basis: your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Consent and withdrawal

When you first visit our website, a banner appears allowing you to accept or decline statistics. Declining is just as easy as accepting. As long as you do not consent, no script is loaded from Google and no connection to Google servers is established.

You can change your choice at any time via the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the cookies set by Google are deleted and no further transmission takes place. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Google Analytics

Subject to your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Purpose: We want to understand which content is being read and how visitors reach us, in order to improve our offering.

Data collected: Among other things, pages viewed, time spent, referrer URL, approximate location (country and region), device type, operating system, browser and screen resolution, as well as a truncated IP address.

IP truncation: We have activated IP anonymisation. Your IP address is truncated by Google before storage, so that direct attribution to you as a person is not possible.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG.

Recipients and transfer to the USA: The recipient is Google Ireland Limited; transfer to Google LLC in the USA and to other Google entities is possible. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on 10 July 2023. In addition, Google has concluded standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. We point out that US authorities may in certain circumstances gain access to data stored there and that the legal bases for transfers to the USA remain legally contested.

Data processing agreement: We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Storage period: The usage and event data collected by Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months.

Further information: Google’s privacy policy and data processing terms.

4. General information and mandatory disclosures

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Bellevue Eco Development Ltd
Unit G02, Eurocity
Europort Avenue
Gibraltar, GX11 1AA
E-Mail: info@bellevue.eu

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Registered office outside the EU: Our company is based in Gibraltar. As this offering is also directed at people in the European Union, we apply the requirements of the GDPR to the processing of personal data.

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from „http://“ to „https://“ and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once those grounds cease to apply.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to object to data processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where data processing takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. You will find the relevant legal basis in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. This right exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where technically feasible.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the framework of applicable law, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, and, where applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions about personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose.

No automated decision-making

Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.

Data protection officer

We are not obliged to appoint a data protection officer. If you have questions about data protection, please contact the controller named above.
